We have a new opportunity for a
Manager of Financial Consolidation. The primary responsibility for this position will be to manage the global consolidation and reporting process of American Vanguard using Oracle FCCS (Hyperion) and report results. In addition, this position will support the 10-Q and 10-K reporting process, and manage various other accounting support functions. The expectation for this position will be to develop and maintain best-in-class processes and procedures for the consolidation and reporting process.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation for all global entities
- Prepare executive-ready financial packages
- Support the 10-Q/10-K reporting process
- Manage foreign exchange translations and analyze currency translation adjustments
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors, support SOX compliance, and prepare statutory reporting materials
- Oversee consolidation software (FCCS/Hyperion)
- Drive efforts to improve the consolidation and reporting processes and coordinate efforts to introduce technology solutions, where appropriate
- Provide ad hoc reports as requested
- Work on special projects as needed
Skills & Qualifications:- Strong skills with Hyperion or Oracle FCCS
- Good understanding of GAAP concepts
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

Education Requirements:- BA or BS degree in accounting or finance
- CPA a plus
Experience Requirements:- Minimum two years experience in managing financial consolidation utilizing Oracle FCCS or Hyperion
- Experience in supporting 10-Q and 10-K filings a plus
- Experience with QAD a plus, but not required
