Manager of Field Training

Position Overview:

The Manager of Field Training is responsible for supporting Sky Zone Field Training in their assigned region or Designated Market Area (DMA), if applicable. This may include the successful launch of new park locations, supporting opportunity parks executing actions plans, facilitating classes, supporting our training programs in the field, certifying our team members and parks, and even more across our system. This role can involve up to 50% travel to new and existing parks to provide training for new franchisees, managers, team leads, team members as well as leading a team of field trainers to deliver high-quality, standardized training programs and support for our parks. The Manager of Field Training will oversee budget adherence, program effectiveness, and maintain operational excellence across all training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Park Opening Training Support: Oversee and execute training for new park openings, ensuring all staff are adequately trained in operational standards, guest service, and safety procedures.
  • New Franchisee Training: Provide comprehensive training and support to new franchisees to ensure a smooth transition and adherence to Sky Zone standards.
  • Manager Training: Conduct ongoing training programs for managers to ensure consistent leadership and operational excellence across all locations.
  • Field Training Support: Support all Sky Zone launches and activations within the assigned region or DMA (if applicable), ensuring parks are trained to the highest standards and are fully operational, including Certified Training Parks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of field trainers, ensuring they meet all budget standards, deliver consistent training programs, and maintain quality in line with Sky Zone standards.
  • Compliance and Standardization: Ensure all training programs and field trainers adhere to company standards and operational procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and field trainers, adjusting as necessary to improve outcomes and efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Manage training budgets, ensuring cost-effective program delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Working cross-function with various business stakeholders to ensure all trainings are being completed to current and relevant standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve training processes and content, ensuring rapid adaptation to evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or franchise support, preferably within the entertainment or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with franchisees, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed to support new park openings.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and foster positive working relationships.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires the ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer and communicating via phone and Teams with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to occasionally travel to company parks, corporate offices, or other business locations to conduct meetings, training, or other business-related activities.

Compensation rangeis $95,000-112,000 + bonus opportunity, based on qualifications, experience, and performance.  Full-time employees at CircusTrix enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matching.  Eligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
