MANAGER OF CONTRACTS AND ANALYTICS

REGULAR, FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN DRYDEN, ONTARIO

We are currently seeking to hire a regular, full-time Manager of Contracts and Analytics located in Dryden, Ontario, to join our Administration team. Our employees enjoy a healthy work environment, professional development, and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

The Manager of Contracts and Analytics (MCA) reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for overseeing the contract management system, data governance, preliminary analytics, and performance reporting. The MCA is responsible for developing and maintaining systems, processes, and controls that support regulatory compliance, risk management, and informed decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Monitor and maintain the contract management systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the data management systems.
  • Collaborate with Third Party Partner Agencies.
  • Facilitate change management.
  • Lead contract/analytic staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL:
  • Use judgement in ensuring that appropriate data is collected to maintain reporting compliance.
  • Use discretion and judgement to make recommendations and implement system improvements.
  • Ensure accuracy of work as assigned as errors could have a negative impact on program analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS WILL INCLUDE:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Statistics, Information Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience including management/supervision of others.
  • Knowledge, training and experience in contract administration principles and contract life-cycle management.
  • Experience in interpreting legislation, funding agreements, contracted obligations, policies, directives, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in data management, including quality management and reporting frameworks.
  • Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion and ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be highly proficient in database management, using computers and other information technology to compile and analyze data including advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of initiative and the ability to complete tasks without close supervision.
  • Require sufficient communication and interpersonal skills in dealing effectively with management staff, employees, Board members, the public, government and community agencies, including an appreciation of the need for confidentiality, tact and discretion.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Professional designations such as Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Analytics Professional, or Project Management Professional is preferred.
  • Certification or training in change management is preferred.
  • Experience in Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB), with particular emphasis on reporting and compliance, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal privacy legislation and information governance practices is preferred.

Along with an excellent benefits package and participation in the OMERS pension plan, we offer a salary ranging from $107,326.72 - $123,159.88 per annum.
