Title: Manager of Claims Adjudication Systems
Location: Chesterbrook, PA (Remote)
Duration: Full-time

SUMMARY: The Manager of Claims Adjudication Systems will function as the technical owner for our client's Virtual Benefits Administrator (VBA Software) platform as well as oversee the technical support of legacy adjudication platforms GBAS and Mphasis Javelina. This position is responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness of the VBA, Javelina and GBAS adjudication systems. This hands on role ensures the systems meet business requirements, supports compliance with regulatory obligations, aligns with organizational objectives, and delivers a seamless user experience for our client's operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Hands on technical ownership of the VBA Software platform including the leadership role in a multi-year project to migrate all clients to the platform.
  • Oversee system configuration, upgrades and enhancements of VBA, GBAS and Javelina systems. Provide technical leadership for architecture, design, development, documentation, testing and maintenance of claims adjudication systems.
  • Effectively gather, document, and review technical and business requirements with stakeholders to gain approval and adoption.
  • Serve as liaison between our client and VBA Software for strategic planning and roadmap development.
  • Monitor service level agreements and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate audits, testing and validation of system data.
  • Active participant in the VBA Software user group.
  • Serve as primary point of accountability for the VBA system across its lifecycle.
  • Management of team members that provide technical support for our client's adjudication platforms.
  • Provide frequent guidance to solution development resources regarding priorities, timelines and deadlines.
  • Oversight of teams and technical support of the legacy GBAS and Javelina systems until they are sunset.
  • Provide leadership and management for technical support of our client's adjudication platforms.
  • Remote work environment with occasional travel as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of VBA system experience.
