Job DescriptionYour Leadership in Action A7 is a 29-bed unit within our Comprehensive Stroke Center, caring for stroke, neuro-medical, cardiac, seizure, multisystem failure, and atrial fibrillation patients. This role provides 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the unit and oversees a team of registered nurses, nursing assistants, nurse technicians, unit clerks, and a Resource Nurse Clinician (Educator).
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the team where people do their best, and engage with a care team to address efficiencies
- Promote and maintain patient-centered outcomes that are culturally sensitive and inclusive.
- Direct and evaluate patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to regulations and clinical guidelines.
- Empower nurses to be accountable for patient outcomes, providing leadership in setting nursing practice standards.
- Establish a culture of safety and report liability risks
QualificationsWhat's Required - BSN
- MHA, MBA or MSN completed in 5 years
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
