US20896Your Opportunity, Your Team The Merchandise Planning Manager supports HSN, and leads category planning strategy and execution to drive sales, inventory productivity, and promotional performance across on-air and off-air channels. In this role, you’ll lead a planning team and help shape how products show up across HSN’s live and digital shopping experiences. You’ll turn category goals into actionable plans, balance selling exposure with inventory health, and guide your team to execute with speed, accuracy, and strong commercial judgment. This is a highly cross-functional role where your work will directly influence category performance, promotional effectiveness, and the customer experience. You’ll partner closely with Merchandising, Sales, Broadcasting, Programming, and Ecommerce to identify opportunities, solve problems, and keep the business moving. This role is well suited for a planning leader who enjoys a fast-moving retail environment, develops people effectively, and uses data, trends, and market insight to improve results. Where You'll Work This role is remote; job seekers must reside in Florida to be considered. This role may require you to be on site at our Florida location as needed. What You'll Do • Lead the planning strategy for assigned businesses to achieve sales, margin, inventory, and productivity goals • Manage and develop a planning team through clear direction, coaching, feedback, and performance management • Drive product exposure across on-air and off-air channels, including promotions, show placement, online features, TSVs, OTOs, Host Promos, Hot Picks, EZ Pay, and Free S&H • Partner with Merchandising, Sales, Programming, Broadcasting, and Ecommerce to align category plans, promotional strategies, and execution priorities • Use inventory, trend, and business analysis to identify risks and opportunities, improve category performance, manage distressed inventory, and support quarterly planning • Oversee key execution processes including reorders, RTVs, pricing approvals, PAL scripting support, TSV readiness, calendars, and deadline management • Identify process and system improvement opportunities that simplify work and strengthen planning execution • Participate in Manager on Call weekend coverage on a rotating basis • Partner with HR to attract, hire, and develop talent for the team What You'll Bring • 5+ years of experience in retail planning, merchandise planning, merchandising, or a related business function • Experience leading or coaching others in a fast-paced retail, ecommerce, or consumer business environment • Strong commercial and analytical skills with experience using data to drive sales, inventory, margin, and promotional decisions • Experience partnering across cross-functional teams such as merchandising, sales, programming, ecommerce, or broadcasting • Ability to prioritize across multiple deadlines, make sound decisions, and adapt quickly to changing business needs • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience Our Total Rewards package includes benefits you’ll love such as competitive compensation, paid time off, an employee assistance program, parental leave, paid volunteer hours, and amazing company discounts!
