Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Manager Manufacturing Operations 2 based out of Cincinnati, OH.

What You'll Get to Do:

The Cincinnati Manufacturing Operations Manager position reports to the Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity Division Vice President of Manufacturing and is directly responsible for all Manufacturing (MFG) organizational performance at our Cincinnati campus. The Manager has direct organizational oversight of the manufacturing team and will be the primary interface to the Xetron Operating Unit locally, and coordinate closely with other operating units to meet operational cost, schedule, and performance requirements across operations.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership across the manufacturing team which includes oversight of manufacturing assembly and test, manufacturing and test engineering, planning, stores, receiving, and shipping. The ability to direct and lead the organization in support of the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan, will be critical as well as providing leadership and guidance in areas such as: technical guidance, process development, continuous improvement, safety, producibility, testability, capacity and production planning, MTA/Capital/Facility planning, cost/benefit analysis, Manpower planning and staffing, Talent Plus execution, workforce engagement, and merit planning. The ability to collaborate and liaise with the various business area leaders towards all business requirements and milestones in Cincinnati, OH is a key function of this role.

Basic Qualifications for the Manufacturing Operations Manager 2:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's Degree with 6 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Management and/or leadership experience.
  • Lean six sigma and continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or repair environment.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • US citizenship required.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Leadership, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Global Supply Chain Management.
  • Former military experience.
  • Current Secret or Top Secret, SCI Clearance.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience with financial management including project & process control, earned value, and budgets, to include familiarity with DCAA and FAR regulations.

Primary Level Salary Range: $121,000.00 - $181,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
