Full Job Description
Job Purpose

To lead the delivery of many of National Grid's energy efficiency programs for Massachusetts residential customers. This leader must achieve successful outcomes for customer programs such as Residential Turnkey Services and Low Income Energy Efficiency, including maximizing energy savings and customer benefits, maintaining excellent budget management, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a professional team, prioritize work and allocate resources in order to ensure savings and budget results are delivered in line with expectations and customer/business objectives.
  • Manage operational process activities, including performance indicators, in order to achieve high productivity, low costs and efficient work practices, program commitments and to ensure compliance with National Grid policies and procedures.
  • Review and approve invoices for accuracy and oversee accrual submissions and monthly scorecard inputs for completeness, accuracy and to identify trends
  • Establish annual program production targets in collaboration with Customer Energy Management (CEM) with the aim of achieving and exceeding goals agreed with state regulators.
  • Establish annual marketing targets in collaboration with Marketing team and ensure go-to-market strategy enables achievement of goals.
  • For offerings with growth opportunities, work with team to establish improvement/gap closer action plans with consistent monitoring and reporting to more senior levels of management.
  • Conduct monthly program reviews inclusive of key stakeholders including CEM, Marketing, and support functions that review program status, forecasts, key process metrics, gaps, and improvement/gap closer action plans.
  • Assess new program design and participation potential in order to support planning efforts, including efforts undertaken by CEM and with a focus on securing regulatory approval for future program plans
  • Cultivate a team culture focused on achieving results, delivering great customer experiences, and driving commerciality in our EE programs (including strong vendor management, process excellence, budget maintenance, performance forecasting, and controls/compliance)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Five plus years of energy efficiency experience. Management experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of external commercial and regulatory environment.
  • Strong knowledge of business financials, controls, and compliance
  • Experience leading, inspiring and motivating an operational team.
  • Proven influencing skills and able to influence at senior level, internally and externally.

Salary

$142,000 - $166,000 a year
