Job Summary

At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered.

Provides leadership, operations strategy, resources and activities for program implementation for demand-side management to achieve Residential/C&I energy efficiency program goals and deliverables, including scorecard results and P&L responsiblity. Leads the launch of new products, programs and service through cross-functional teams including operations, legal, regulatory and procurement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the processes and activities for the implementation and delivery of demand-side management and other energy efficiency products/services for PSEG's energy efficiency programs through cross-functional teams.
  • Manage internal associate(s) and external vendors to ensure program deliverables are met while ensuring high level of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction across all programs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to internal constituents for improving current processes, policies and procedures; provide expert consultation towards the assessment and development of new products, programs and services.
  • Develop partnerships and manage vendor and trade ally relationships to assist in delivering current energy efficiency programs and to build support for future programs; represent the company on external committees, including BPU-sponsored working groups.
  • Manage the developments, maintenance and enhancement of IT systems to manage programs and report results.
  • Develop and monitor program budgets and support regulatory filings.
  • Direct the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Energy Solutions energy efficiency program. Tailor offerings to meet the unique needs of property owners, tenants, and housing authorities while maximizing energy savings and participation.
  • Conduct site visits as needed inclusive of but not limited to on-site inspections, vendor meetings, and customer meetings


Job Specific Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree plus 6-years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, project management, vendor management, or related fields. In lieu of a degree, 10-years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, project management, vendor management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of C&I programs
    Working knowledge of utility regulation and accounting principles.
  • Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.
  • As an employee of PSE&G, during storm/outage restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions different from normal operations and the regular work schedule. May also be required to work in an alternate location

    Desired:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PJM capacity markets.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the utility industry.
  • BPI and/or CEM certifications
    Demonstrated knowledge of NJ Large C&I market sector.
  • Working knowledge of Income-Qualified energy efficiency offerings, and energy assistance/safety net programs.
