Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Logistics, this high visibility position is responsible for leading a team of logistic professionals who manage the logistics systems road map, analytics strategy and freight pay compliance for multiple brands within the FBIN network.

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and maintain logistics systems, including ERP, TMS, WMS, and other related technologies.
  • Develop and execute the logistics systems road map to optimize the TMS platform and utilization.
  • Develop and expand the use of dashboards and analytics to support decision making.
  • Responsible for maintaining freight pay compliance processes with 3rd party audit and payment providers.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new technologies.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for both cost and service initiatives through data analysis with internal and external customer engagement.
  • Act as lead for all logistics system and analytical needs.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in logistics systems and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Manage and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Mentor and develop bench strength across the team to build a path for future logistics leaders


Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics software, systems integration, and data analysis, with a focus on improving efficiency and accuracy in our supply chain operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other business-related focus is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Logistics, IT or other business-related experience is required.
  • MS Office experience (Excel, Power Point, Word).
  • ERP system experience (preferably Oracle or SAP).
  • Transportation Management System experience (preferably Mercury Gate or Oracle OTM).
  • Analytics platform experience (preferably Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts.
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity and problem solve.
  • Ability to make independent decisions based on sound rationale and alignment with FBIN's operational standards and goals.


Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $71,000 USD - $107,800 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
