Manager, IT Solutions Delivery - Systems & Integration to play a key role in evolving delivery practices and optimizing the operational performance of the Pricing & Claims ecosystem.
Driven by excellence in IT delivery, a solid understanding of DevOps practices, and a proven ability to build high-performing multidisciplinary teams, you will help establish a structured, measurable, and sustainable delivery model. You will have a direct impact on end-to-end efficiency through improved deliverable quality, automation, dependency management, continuous improvement, and a data and KPI-driven approach.
You will lead this team and provide its technical direction. Your mandate will be to improve the release cadence of strategic initiatives, oversee deployment pipelines, and embed engineering practices that will enable our teams to become increasingly autonomous.
What You Will Accomplish with UsAs a
Manager, you will be at the heart of our delivery capabilities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Define, communicate, and evolve the vision of the Systems & Integration team in alignment with Individual Insurance strategic priorities.
- Lead, engage, and develop a multidisciplinary team composed of internal and external resources working in software development, DevOps, application support, and solution delivery.
- Be accountable for solution delivery, service quality, and the overall performance of your team.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and deployment practices to increase release frequency and production stability.
- Establish and coordinate the ecosystem release calendar while managing dependencies and environments.
- Define and evolve delivery engineering standards, including test automation, configuration management, branching strategies, and rollback mechanisms.
- Ensure the reliability of production assets through observability, application health monitoring, incident management, and automation of repetitive tasks.
- Establish and monitor delivery performance metrics (Lead Time, Deployment Frequency, Change Failure Rate, MTTR) and report progress to leadership.
- Act as the owner of IT assets by overseeing their long-term health, evolution roadmap, and proactive management of technical debt.
- Promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence to improve efficiency in software development, quality assurance, technical documentation, and incident analysis.
- Serve as a tactical and operational partner to business units while managing issues and technical escalations.
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop team members while contributing to the assessment of technical competencies.
What Will Help You Succeed in This RoleWe are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 10 years of combined experience in IT and management, including at least 3 years managing software development teams.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another equivalent discipline.
- Has previous experience as a Software Developer, Technical Lead, or Architect.
- Is recognized for inspiring leadership, influence, and the ability to align teams around common goals.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of DevOps practices, modern software engineering, and large-scale delivery challenges.
- Excels at navigating complexity, setting priorities, and making data-driven decisions.
- Is known for initiative, operational rigor, and the ability to balance business value with technical health.
- Has hands-on experience leading multidisciplinary teams that include developers, architects, quality assurance specialists, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
- Is proficient with delivery tools and practices such as Azure DevOps or Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines, code quality tools, and monitoring and observability solutions.
- Holds certifications such as SAFe, DevOps, AWS, Azure, or ITIL (an asset).
- Has an intermediate level of English, as the role may require weekly communication, collaboration, and coordination with English-speaking external vendors.
- Has an advanced level of French, both spoken and written.
