Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesYour Role: - Interact with senior management and manage overall relationships for multiple Private Equity clients.
- Manage various operational aspects associated with client relationships and investors.
- Coordinate with the Accounting group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Legal team.
- Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit process.
- Review private equity fund client's partnership agreements, Subscription documents, PPM's and other materials.
- Manage various operational aspects associated with client relationships and investors.
- Assist with the implementation and understanding of fund structures on the accounting system.
- Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables, as well as building and managing client relationships.
- Manage and develop staff of 4-6 Investor Relations Specialists.
- Build out and manage internal Policy and Procedure documentation.
- Review, create and produce partner statements; call and distribution notifications and other correspondence.
- Assist with the appropriate handling of fund manager and investor calls.
- Review and approve of investor capital activity (call/distributions/transfers/rebalances).
- Prepare and review all activity within stated Service Level Agreements.
- Have oversight of the money transfer dollar amounts and AML/KYC.
- Involved with reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) and will assist with various projects as assigned.
QualificationsAbout You:- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or comparable Investor relations and finance experience.
- 5-7 years' experience in the Hedge Fund/Private Assets industry, preferably in Investor Relations and/ or Client Service with some exposure to accounting and performance reporting
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing staff
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering policies
- Possess proven client relationship skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Salary Range: CAD $90,000 - CAD $110,000
