Salary range (but not limited to): 118,700 - 145,100 Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 20% As part of our commitment to Win As A Team, we share our success with employees through our annual bonus plan and Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) - with Intact matching 50% of your net shares. Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. Why This Role As Manager, Investment Reporting, you will lead a key finance function at the intersection of financial reporting, accounting, controls, and data transformation. You will have broad exposure to senior leaders and investment professionals while helping shape the reporting and decision-support capabilities behind a large and diverse global investment portfolio. This is an opportunity to develop a high-performing team and lead meaningful modernization initiatives involving automation, data centralization, and process improvement. Our Team Intact Investment Management brings together approximately 80 professionals across fixed income, equities, private investments, asset allocation, compliance and governance, trading, and transactional support and reporting. You will join a collaborative environment where expertise is shared, ideas are welcomed, and professional growth is actively supported. What Youll Do
  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close for investments, ensuring accurate system flows, effective controls, high-quality analysis, and timely review of results.
  • Oversee external reporting of investment results, including consolidated and legal entity financial statements, management reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Deliver relevant internal reporting and ad hoc analyses that help senior leaders understand investment performance, emerging issues, and business implications.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Coordinate investment-related audit activities and build strong, productive relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Assess and implement new or amended accounting standards and advise on the financial reporting implications of significant or complex investment transactions.
  • Partner with investment teams and Finance colleagues, including management control and accounting research, to integrate investment results into enterprise-wide reporting.
  • Drive the modernization, automation, and centralization of investment financial information, controls, and reporting processes.
  • Champion a strong control environment and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, scalability, and the user experience.
  • Represent the function on strategic, regulatory, and cross-functional initiatives, influencing outcomes and supporting successful delivery.
What You Bring
  • CPA designation is required; CFA designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, investment accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience leading direct reports, including performance management, coaching, and career development - is required
  • Experience with investment products, regulatory reporting, complex accounting matters, data transformation, automation, or reporting modernization.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting processes and the design and operation of key controls.
  • Excellent analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex matters into clear recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and motivate stakeholders across a broad range of functions and experience levels.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required to interact regularly with French- and English-speaking colleagues across Canada, U.S., U.K. and Europe.
