Team

The Linguistic Services department translates and revises various documents for clients and for the firme28099s business services.

Support the work that drives business services success.

The Manager, Internal Translation leads the delivery of high-quality translation services in support of the organization's business operations, executive communications, and marketing initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor to business services teams and senior leadership, this role manages translation requests from multiple stakeholders, ensures timely delivery of multilingual content, and maintains the highest standards of linguistic quality.

This person reports to the Director, Linguistic Services Leader and is responsible for translating, revising, and post-editing a broad range of firm content, while collaborating closely with Marketing on campaigns, brand messaging, and communication strategies. The role also oversees a small team of proofreaders, manages project timelines and priorities, and coordinates with external language service providers when additional capacity or specialized expertise is required.

  • Manage translation requests from business services departments and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate into French; revise and post-edit French content.
  • Ability to work on English-language documents would be an asset.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in translation, revision, and stakeholder management.
  • Previous experience managing or leading a team of language professionals.
  • Strong client-service orientation and ability to engage effectively with senior leaders.
  • Experience managing projects, competing priorities, and external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to manage a high number of requests and shifting priorities.
  • Experience working on high-impact, engaging content for internal and external communications.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours.
  • Being familiar with Logiterm and Flowfit would be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment would be preferred.
