Job Responsibilities:

The Manager, Magna Electronics Communications, will support the development and execution of communications plans that clearly share the business’s priorities, initiatives, and innovation story — strengthening employee understanding, alignment, and engagement across the organization.

This role is responsible for translating business priorities into clear, practical communications for employees and key stakeholders. The role works closely with corporate communications, group leadership, HR, sales, marketing, engineering, and product teams to help ensure messaging is accurate, consistent, and delivered through the right channels.

Your Responsibilities

Communications Planning & Storytelling

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand communications needs and recommend practical messaging and channel approaches.
  • Develop and execute internal communications plans that support business priorities and reinforce Magna Electronics’ business and technical activities.
  • Translate business updates, performance highlights, and technical topics into clear, audience-focused messages.
  • Maintain consistent messaging across materials, regions, and functions.
  • Monitor communications performance and use feedback and available metrics to improve content and delivery.

Internal & Leadership Communications

  • Create internal communications that support employee understanding, alignment, and engagement across global teams.
  • Support group leadership communications, including key messages, presentations, talking points, and employee updates.
  • Help ensure leadership messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication of business priorities, product developments, and organizational updates.
  • Use channel and audience insights to improve content performance and delivery across internal platforms.
  • Partner with leadership, HR, and corporate communications on change communications that help employees understand business direction and impact.

Integrated Channel Coordination

  • Coordinate with digital and regional internal communications teams to deliver cohesive messaging across channels.
  • Manage the development of communications assets, including written content, presentations, videos, and employee materials.
  • Support internal events including leadership and employee webcasts and forums with aligned messaging and materials.

External Communications Support

  • Partner with corporate communications to support external messaging for business updates, issues, and high-impact situations.
  • Support communications related to strategic initiatives, including messaging development, stakeholder coordination, and execution of key announcements.
  • Support marketing managers as needed with presentations, talking points, and materials for external audiences, including industry events, customer engagements, and thought leadership opportunities.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within a global, B2B, manufacturing, or automotive environment.
  • Experience translating complex or technical topics into clear, audience-focused messaging.
  • Experience supporting leadership communications, employee engagement, and business storytelling.
  • Ability to support communications during periods of change and manage sensitive information with sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.
