THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a purpose-driven professional with a profound analytical ability, strategic vision, and the capability to translate complex data into actionable insights to join our team as a Manager, Insight & Strategy. In this role, you will lead and support research, analysis, and strategic planning work that turns complex information into insights our clients can act on. You'll also coach and guide Associate-level team members, fostering their professional growth and creating space for curiosity, sharp questions, and unconventional thinking.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can identify themes across complex, technical, and scientific content, anticipate stakeholder perspectives, and translate nuanced insights into clear strategic implications, particularly for executive and high-stakes reputational and issues management contexts. The ideal candidate also brings a forward-thinking mindset to AI's evolving role in insight and strategy work, pushing beyond conventional approaches to reshape how research gets done and what's possible for our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Identifies, analyzes, and synthesizes complex technical, scientific or data-heavy information from diverse research sources to surface strategic themes and implications.
  • Demonstrates strong writing and editing skills across styles, including reports, client and team communications, and presentations, producing issues-based, executive-level writing that reflects stakeholder dynamics, risk considerations and decision-making context
  • Identifies, articulates, packages, and presents insights and strategic recommendations for delivery to the client with some oversight.
  • Leads the creation of persuasive insights reports and strategic recommendation documents.
  • Crafts insight narratives for a variety of audiences within a client organization, balancing depth, clarity and strategic relevance.
  • Leads the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, workshops, and mixed-method research,
  • Supports the design, interpretation and evolution of dynamic monitoring and measurement dashboards, synthesizing quantitative signals and qualitative context to surface trends, implications and strategic opportunities for client and internal teams.
  • Uses research to actively expand market intelligence, stakeholder understanding and strategic foresight
  • Coaches and guides Associate and Junior Associate team members in executing insight & strategy-related client projects and deliverables.
  • Supports in the development of proposals to effectively showcase the recommended approach.
  • Delivers clear, compelling, confident and highly polished presentations of insights to audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadership within a client organization.
  • Innovates new ways to visualize and present insights and recommended strategic solutions.
  • Develops strategic recommendations for clients in areas such as brand strategy, change management, corporate culture, etc., with some oversight.


Additionally, the ideal candidate meets these qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience, with prior roles in marketing, account planning, communications, brand strategy, data analytics, consulting or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working with technical, scientific, sustainability or policy-related content is highly preferred
  • Strong background in qualitative and/or quantitative research, with hands-on experience preferred over exposure alone
  • Willingness and availability to travel occasionally
  • Experience with research and survey platforms such as Qualtrics and Survey Monkey
  • Experience with data analytics and AI platforms such as Pulsar, ChatGPT, Claude AI


The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences and may fall outside the range shown. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK CONDITIONS

The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
