DescriptionReporting to the Regional Vice President Business Development, the Manager Inside Sales is responsible for leading a team of up to 12 Regional Account Managers to drive performance, foster exceptional customer relationships, and achieve growth objectives through account retention, upselling, and cross-selling. This role also oversees the seamless integration and development of accounts transferred from Magid's Business Development team, prioritizing long-term customer satisfaction and success.
Essential Responsibilities:Team Leadership and Development- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Account Managers to achieve individual and team KPIs.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance skills in account management, upselling, and cross-selling.
Performance Management- Set clear performance expectations and regularly monitor progress against goals.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Address performance challenges to ensure consistent target achievement.
Strategic Account Growth- Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue from existing and newly acquired accounts.
- Ensure smooth transitions for new accounts, fostering relationship-building and long-term satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and additional value creation.
Customer Success and Retention- Ensure the team delivers high levels of service and proactively addresses customer needs and challenges.
- Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues, supporting resolution and satisfaction.
Reporting and Insights- Analyze performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Executive Sales Leadership team.
- Leverage data-driven insights to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with marketing, operations, and supply chain to support account management and growth initiatives.
- Advocate for team needs and resources to support success.
Requirements- 3-5 years in sales (preferably inside sales or B2B selling).
- 2-4 years in a formal leadership role, managing a team of inside sales representatives.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in an inside sales or account management environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing customer accounts.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and drive results.
