Full Job Description
Under the general direction of the Director of IT, the Manager Information Technology provides technical oversight and management of technical services teams including staff responsible for server operations, data center operations, desktop support, Lan/Wan infrastructure, help desk, and telecommunications. Works collaboratively with Application and Support Services Managers to implement and support the networking infrastructure, virtual systems, VOIP systems, storage network environments, desktop environment, help desk, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Supports, and is responsible for incorporating into job performance, the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program, including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver information across and within varying departments.
  • Experience and proven success with managing multiple projects with varying scopes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server environments, including VMware, Active directory, Microsoft 365, Storage Area Networks, Intra/Internet environments.
  • Experience managing mid to large scale system installations essential.
  • Ability to identify and implement Quality Improvement measures and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver services that result in high customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to execute multi-Platform Integrated Solutions (HL7 Standards)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
  • Healthcare background preferred but not essential.
  • BS/BA or equivalent Healthcare Technology related experience
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Applications utilized in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years management experience to include staff performance and operating budget responsibilities.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.

Salary Range: $114,462.40 - $172,640
