What you'll do...

Position: Manager II, Process Engineer - Supply Chain

Job Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Leads Process Improvement tools and methods (for example, 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate losses in an area within a Distribution Center according to Network Process Structure using Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. Delivers expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, loss elimination, and by creating standard work to reduce process variation. Assists with the review and response of process improvement projects owned by area managers. Applies new network One Best Way playbooks and provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities. Leads savings projects within area of responsibility by taking loss out of the process. Promotes and supports company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Assists with the tactical deployment of the WPS program methodology. Manages project execution of top losses in the functional area and assists in building the capability of other area managers and associates. Supports area loss profile analysis and performance metrics. Develops gap analysis to support WPS integration. Supports Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements within process area. Position may work at various unanticipated Walmart locations throughout the U.S.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in Process Improvement or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Lean Production Systems methodology tools; Value stream mapping to visualize flow of freight & information through system; Continuous improvement (Kaizen) - Ongoing & incremental improvements in processes; 5S Tool & methodology; (CAPA) Corrective and Preventive Actions - Initiate & complete corrective and preventive actions to address process issues, enhancing productivity & quality; Time & Motion Study - Balancement of lines & calculation of cycle times, designing new stations for operators & improving bottom line KPI's through better flow; ERP/MRP - Understanding ERP system & implementing throughout facility; MS Visio - Value Stream map/Process Study - To identify detailed steps within process to resolve problems using DMAIC methodology; Root Cause Analysis - Engage in analyses to identify root causes; Loss Elimination - Identifying, removing inefficiencies, creating SOP's & training operators on new procedures & standards; DMAIC Methodology - Data driven methodology to improve processes in production; Developing Gap Analysis - Identifying differences between current state & desired future state of process or system; Project Management - Risk assessments, timelines, GANTT charts and project planning; Data analysis. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $104,000.00 - 156,000.00/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives
