Full Job Description

Your Role

As a member of the site senior leadership team (SLT), this position maintains, supports, and improves existing manufacturing processes.  Includes preventive maintenance system, equipment calibration system, new equipment, IQ/OQ/PQ, and more. This role is responsible for leading the manufacturing engineering and maintenance staff.  Provides support on some Site PMO projects. Manage successful completion of projects within boundaries of quality, time and budget. Based on significant technical expertise, reviews and approves complex design concepts. Provides technical direction to staff.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a variety of complex issues in associated projects, plans and schedules project implementation.

  • Responsible for defining scope of work for project team.

  • Manage, identify, hire, develop and recognize technical staff; the team may include senior level engineers and technicians.

  • Provide technical directions. Design new or improved products or process systems.

  • Review and approve technical feasibility of complex design concepts and analysis of technologies that incorporate own area of expertise as well as multiple fields.

  • Review and analyze proposals to determine if benefits derived and possible applications justify expenditures.

  • Recommend proposals to management for consideration and allocation of funds.

  • Responsible for preparation of project cost estimates up to multi 6million 6dollar range. Monitor all project expenditures and cost tracking.

  • Responsible for policy setting and defining procedures for the staff in accomplishing and documenting projects and provide feedback on overall engineering department policy.

  • Approve protocols and support documentation (engineering change requests, system change forms, etc.) in order to secure project release. This is a 3technical approver 4 position.

What You'll Bring

  • Be involved in at least one industry interest group.

  • Has demonstrated effective supervisory skills.

The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 - $176,000 annually. The estimated salary is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
