What is the opportunity?

You will design, develop, implement and execute critical data solutions and business analytics including supporting the build of a self-serve AI agent hub that transforms the People Analytics operating model through Snowflake integration, semantic layer governance, and conversational AI enablement.

What will you do?

Business Requirements Gathering
  • Anticipate and action on requirements and future work through active listening and balance that with clear, urgent requirements.


Technical Requirements Translation and Documentation
  • Gather business requirements and translate to technical and tactical action items.
  • Navigate different UI's for data systems, front end reporting tools, back end reporting tools, etc to extract and join data (i.e. Workday, SAP, Snowflake, etc).
  • Communicate technical barriers, build and requirements in a digestible manner and pivot how 'technical' the explanation is based on who's in the room.
  • Support architecting the Self-Serve AI-Assisted agent (semantic layer, data governance, and Cortex AI integration), managing cross-functional coordination to deliver governed analytics at scale.


Technical Solution Design
  • Manipulate data from multiple sources into visualizations using different tools (including Tableau).
  • Make calculated, thoughtful assumptions to data where needed to meet timelines and milestones with anticipation of getting clarity after the fact.
  • Quickly make connections between different data sources conceptually and joins data in a technically efficient way using the appropriate tools (Python / SQL / Excel).
  • Assess various approaches to building and delivery of a solution with consideration of stakeholders and other parties involved perspectives and user experience.


Execution Excellence
  • Develop and deliver proof of concept of a technical solution with speed and influences from the environment, nature and purpose of the project using real, scrambled or mocked up data.


Stakeholdering within Project Framework
  • Prioritize projects and milestones by ensuring alignment on what is most important at the moment and knows when to get clarity.
  • Independently identify and reach out to relevant stakeholders when required for clarity, alignment, engagement, etc to ensure continuous progression of a project.
  • Clearly set and align milestones and deadlines of deliverables based on the context and criticality of the overall project.
  • Clearly present technical builds and flow of data from a business and purpose point of view to communicate impact to the overall project.


Data Expertise / Analysis for Business Recommendations
  • Perform analysis to pull key insights and findings from datasets or visualizations and use judgement to determine what is pertinent to end users.
  • Perform quantitative impact analysis of changes to data to identify lateral and downstream impacts to other products and processes.
  • Identify where and how to dig into data quality issues and raises risks and impact.


What do you need to succeed?
  • 3+ years professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Degree in business, economics, finance, or other quantitative fields (e.g., mathematics, statistics, etc) preferred
  • Experience with HR data preferred
  • Experience with Snowflake preferred
