Full Job Description
The Manager III, Program Management leads Amazon's global Evaluations & Offboarding (E&O) team, overseeing intern evaluation lifecycle operations, offboarding execution, and intern conversion architecture-partnering with Recruiting to optimize AUTA's conversion pipeline-for 14,000+ global interns annually across AMER, EMEA, LATAM, and APJC. E&O is the final phase of the internship lifecycle comprised of two bodies of work: 1) Activities that result in an evaluation outcome (defined as inclined or not inclined) and 2) activities necessary for an intern to seamlessly offboard (e.g., early exit and extension processes, laptop/equipment/badge return, personal information updates). This role drives enterprise-wide transformation in Amazon's early career talent strategy, operating at the intersection of operational excellence, process innovation, and strategic workforce planning to support Amazon's Recruiting Reimagined initiative-filling FTE demand through intern conversion.

A successful candidate will be able to build strong cross-functional global working relationships and demonstrate exceptional process improvement and organizational skills. The candidate must have the ability to think strategically, communicate effectively and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. The candidate must also be able to effectively prioritize and have strong attention to detail. They must be fluent in Amazon's mechanisms, operate effectively in an ambiguous environment, and have a demonstrated track record of leading a team, managing multiple projects and driving them to completion.

Key job responsibilities
• Global Evaluation & Offboarding Operations: Owns end-to-end global intern evaluation and offboarding lifecycle-leading scheduling, execution, and quality assurance of Intern Evaluation Forms (IEF) and Intern Evaluation Meetings (IEMs) across AMER, EMEA, APJC, and LATAM. Oversees peak standups (daily/weekly), IEM SLA compliance reporting, and escalation resolution. Conducts mid-peak health checks and process adjustment reviews. Architects comprehensive global intern conversion framework for AUTA in partnership with AUTA Recruiting Delivery teams.
• Global Process Standardization & Simplification: Leads end-to-end IEM process mapping and standardization across all regions.
• Bar Raiser (BR) IEM Securement & Management: Leads strategy and execution for BR participation in SDE-1, Science, and MBA IEMs. Drives BR and hiring manager enablement and self-service tools. Expands BR participation to additional roles as aligned to business strategy.
• Manager & Stakeholder Readiness: Implements regional engagement strategy for all intern managers, interns, Bar Raisers, and stakeholders globally.
• Evaluation Tools & Technology: Drives critical IEF and IEM tech enhancements and Intern Enablement Dashboard (IED) improvements that eliminate manual intervention in partnership with tech and analytics teams.
• Measurement & Process Optimization: Develops metrics and analytics frameworks measuring evaluations and offboarding effectiveness. Optimizes processes and mechanisms based on data-driven insights.
• Data Stewardship & Analytics: Owns global data integrity strategy; leads comprehensive data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies between upstream/downstream workflows and analytics output. Partners with analytics team to build sustainable dashboards providing high-integrity, real-time visibility into early career talent health.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stays abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in university programs. Drives and implements innovative solutions to enhance experience and program outcomes. Gains efficiencies through AI-powered tools.
• Team Leadership and Development: Leads and develops a global team of Program Managers and Program Coordinators. Instills operational excellence and develops surge support staffing plans in partnership with Recruiting Services and Recruiting Coordinators for peak weeks.
