You will be responsible for the direct supervision of approximately 20-25 represented (union) employees and processes in a Manufacturing environment for PRFC Cell . You will work independently across organizations; manage the use of consumables to achieve budget targets; assign and manage represented EMS Operators to maximize efficiency and achieve target productive yields; implement our process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule; and perform required SAP/MES transactions to manage Operator and/or M&P Specialist. What You’ll Get to Do: • Provide directions to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies. • Plan, direct, and oversee manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgeted costs. • Manage and provide leadership to manufacturing teams, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee development. • Drive employee efficiency. • Manage the area to produce quality products. • Engage employees to achieve their highest potential. • Implement process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule. • Perform required SAP/MES transactions. Basic Qualifications for General Manufacturing Manager 2: • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline; Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of work experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline; a minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or other related discipline may be considered in lieu of degree • Experience leading people across large organizations • Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement • Experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems • Experience troubleshooting and developing creative solutions to meet customer demands • Experience driving continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities • Current, active U.S.Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP). • U.S. citizenship is required. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
