Full Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Manager of Kids Games to support the marketing strategy and execution for our Kids game vertical. This role will focus on building awareness, engagement, and player acquisition for games designed to appeal to broad, mass-market audiences. You'll be responsible for contributing to and executing marketing campaigns that introduce Netflix's Kids games to both existing members and new audiences, helping to establish Netflix as a destination for accessible, high-quality gaming experiences.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the Director of Games Marketing and cross-functional partners to promote our Kids game titles. You'll need to understand what makes games appealing and trustworthy to both young kids (ages 6–8) and the parents who influence their screen time and translate that understanding into marketing that earns the confidence of families while sparking genuine excitement in kids, driving discovery and engagement within the Netflix ecosystem.

What you will do:

  • Support and execute marketing strategy for Netflix's Kids game portfolio, including connected IP games, casual titles, simulation games, and other broad-appeal experiences.

  • Contribute to positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with Kids game audiences and differentiate our games in a crowded market.

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, in-app, email, partnerships, etc.) that drive awareness and player acquisition.

  • Partner with game development teams, product managers, and creative teams to understand each title's unique value proposition and help translate it into effective marketing.

  • Collaborate with consumer insights and data analytics teams to understand player behavior, preferences, and motivations within the Kids gaming segment.

  • Work with the broader games marketing team and Netflix marketing functional experts (creative, PR, social, partnerships) to leverage resources and support campaign execution.

  • Assist in managing marketing budgets and resources efficiently to deliver strong ROI on Kids games marketing efforts.

  • Track and report on key performance metrics, using data to optimize campaigns and inform future marketing strategies.

  • Identify opportunities to cross-promote Kids games with relevant Netflix content (TV series, films) to drive mutual discovery.

  • Stay ahead of how kids discover and engage with games, including platform shifts, creator culture, in-school trends, and the evolving role of YouTube, streaming, and social in young audiences' lives, and translate those insights into smarter channel and messaging decisions.

What we need from you:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with meaningful experience in kids and family entertainment marketing, whether in games, film, TV, or consumer products. Experience at companies like Disney, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Mattel, Toca Boca, or similar kids-focused brands is highly valued.

  • Experience with user acquisition strategies, including paid social, performance marketing, or app install campaigns, with a track record of driving measurable player growth.

  • Demonstrated experience contributing to and executing successful marketing campaigns that drove measurable business results.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and campaigns simultaneously.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling Kids and campaigns that break through the noise.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, creative, data, and business teams to align on strategy and execution.

  • Data-driven approach to marketing, with experience using analytics and consumer insights to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Passion for gaming and understanding of what makes games fun and engaging for different player types.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of the gaming audience, including casual and mid-core players, and what motivates them to discover and engage with games.

  • Experience marketing live service games, free-to-play games, mobile games, or games within a subscription service.

  • Familiarity with the Netflix product and member base.

  • Background in product marketing, experience developing positioning, messaging frameworks, or go-to-market strategy in close partnership with a product team.
