About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities

Your Role:
  • Manage a team of fund accountants by providing ongoing training and support to ensure team/individual goals/objectives are met.
  • Provide on-going coaching and feedback to team
  • Ensure employees are engaged, motivated and developed to maintain high quality work that proactively exceeds client's expectations
  • Continually seek to improve the quality and productivity of internal processes and controls
  • Participate in performance management conversations
  • Prepare monthly reporting package to the client
  • Review monthly financial statements and reconciliation packages prepared by the staff
  • Act as a liaison with the client on matters relating to the preparation of the monthly reporting package
  • Apply strong business knowledge and technical expertise to develop and recommend solutions to complex problems
  • Review daily/monthly operational/control reporting
  • Assist with ad hoc projects
  • Prepare responses to the client on any number of issues and queries which they are requesting from time to time.
  • Review administrative/accounting procedures and recommend solutions in order to work towards a more efficient NAV production process.
  • Participate in strategic departmental and corporate initiatives


Qualifications

About You:
  • You have a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA, CPA or CFA).
  • Experience in financial services industry, particularly with hedge funds and/or investment companies
  • Extensive supervisory and managerial experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook Demonstrated financial reporting/ analytical/organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work in a challenging, professional and deadline driven work environment


Salary Range: CAD $95,000 - CAD $115,000
