What You'll Do:The
Manager, Floor Operations, is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the assigned facility. This role plays a key part in implementing strategies that promote effective patient care delivery, operational efficiency, and program growth. The Manager, Floor Operations fosters a professional and collaborative environment by modeling accessibility, engagement, and support for facility staff. In partnership with clinical leadership, the Manager, Floor Operations helps uphold a culture focused on patient outcomes, staff wellbeing, and overall facility safety.
- Serves as the facility operation lead, under the direction of the Director, Clinical Operations and VP, Clinical Operations.
- Drives a highly effective operations culture to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of administrative processes to meet strict regulatory and established service levels.
- Participates and supports the planning, development, and implementation of clinical operations that deliver care that is timely, safe, effective, efficient, equitable, and recovery-oriented in alignment with quality healthcare, including sourcing qualified talent, retention, development, and performance management of the staff in the department.
- Oversee implementation and management of quality improvement programs, and other regulatory benchmarks.
- Collaborate with providers and other clinical management staff to ensure operational standards.
- Direct daily operations of inpatient services, including integrated services.
- Manage clinic schedules, payroll, supply ordering, and financial reporting to ensure strong budget to actual performance.
- Monitor operational workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency and service improvement.
- Working alongside the Clinical Director to ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and regulatory adherence.
- Coordinate facility maintenance and equipment needs in collaboration with internal/external vendors.
- Lead efforts to optimize the patient experience through data monitoring, service recovery, and staff coaching.
- Develop and maintain a culture of safety and continuous improvement, using data to identify and address trends.
- Interview, onboard, develop, and retain staff through coaching, performance feedback, and recognition.
- Provide training and support for staff across clinical and administrative roles and maintaining readiness to backfill staff positions as needed.
- Provide after-hours support to team on a rotating basis.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Associate's Degree in Social Services, Public Health, Business, or related field
- 2 years of behavioral healthcare work experience
- 2 years of managerial experience
- Working knowledge of federal and state behavioral health or hospital operations and regulatory requirements
- Must be able to perform and certify Safe Clinch and Therapeutic Options techniques

- State of Virginia Fingerprint Clearance
- Must be able to pass Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (VA DBHDS) background check
- Must be able to pass Virginia Department of Social Services (VA DSS) Office of Background Investigations - Central Registry Search
It would be great if you had:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Public Health, or related field
- Experience in multi-services hospital environment with matrix reporting structures
