Job Summary
This leader has operational accountability and oversight and manages the daily activities of The First 1,000 Days Suncoast, the Pregnancy Care Team, and the Maternal Telehealth Program. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. This leader will lead strategic planning of the programs, oversee program evaluation, manage program staff, and oversee budget. Accountable for building a strong, coordinated advocacy between the inpatient setting and all community partners/service providers.
Required Qualifications
- Require a minimum two (2) years of staff level nursing experience and two (2) additional years' experience working with care navigation, community agencies, governmental agencies and/or health facilities in maternal, infant, or pediatric health.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Prefer demonstrated abilities to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Prefer competence for all Microsoft Office software and electronic medical record documentation used by SMHCS.
- Prefer Trauma Informed Care background/ training.

BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

MSN: Master of Science in Nursing

BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
