Full Job Description
Manager to support and deliver transformation initiatives across our Insurance clients, with a focus on P&C Insurance, Life & Health Insurance, and Workers' Compensation. We are looking for people who are genuinely excited about the Insurance industry and how insurance organizations can shape more compelling offerings, better support customers and distribution partners, streamline workflows, and grow sustainably.

What you will do

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex client workstreams or smaller end-to-end engagements, ensuring high-quality, on-time outcomes.
  • Drive strategic and operational transformation initiatives across front-, middle-, and back-office functions within Insurance organizations, covering core areas such as Digital, Distribution, Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, and related functions.
  • Serve as a key day-to-day client contact, building trusted relationships with director- and VP-level stakeholders.
  • Translate business strategies into practical change - from growth strategy and "where to play" decisions to target operating model design across people, process, technology, data, etc. For example, "what work should be performed?," "who should perform that work?," "How should it flow?," "what systems should enable it?," "what data could unlock better decisions and customer experiences?"
  • Manage, coach, and develop engagement teams (typically 3-5 practitioners), fostering KPMG's Open Feedback culture.
  • Contribute to business development through proposal development, client presentations, and identification of follow-on opportunities - bringing curiosity about the problems insurance organizations are trying to solve and energy to shaping practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Advisory service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.

What you bring to the role

  • 5-7 years of combined consulting and/or industry experience within Financial Services, ideally in Insurance (P&C, L&H, and/or Workers' Compensation).
  • Experience supporting or leading strategic and operational change, including growth strategy, operating model design, process improvement, customer experience, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of how people, process, technology, and data come together to improve insurance operations and customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and orchestrate complex workstreams in fast-paced, client-facing environments; exposure to large-scale technology-enabled business transformations (e.g., core policy / claims administrations system implementations) is strongly valued.
  • We also value a genuine interest in how the latest technologies can improve ways of working and help insurance organizations better serve their customers (e.g., experience exploring, solutioning, piloting, and/or deploying AI into day-to-day operations).
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA, PMP, insurance designation (e.g., CIP, CRM), or relevant professional designation is an asset.
  • You are motivated, collaborative, easy to work with, excited to learn, and known for strong attention to detail.
