About This RoleWe are seeking a highly analytical and driven Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to join its Corporate Finance and Accounting team. This critical role is responsible for external financial reporting, technical accounting research, audit management, internal controls, and accounting policy governance across a global organization.
Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position offers visibility to executive management, the opportunity to influence key accounting decisions, and the ability to contribute to the financial integrity of a globally recognized fashion brand.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep U.S. GAAP expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for process improvement in a dynamic, multinational environment.
Work Location: 5 days onsite Downtown Los Angeles
Pay Rate Range: $160K-$180K
What You Will Work On- Prepare and oversee consolidated annual and quarterly financial statements for lenders, executive leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Draft and review audited financial statements and disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Research and assess the impact of new accounting standards and complex transactions (e.g., acquisitions, leases, revenue arrangements).
- Prepare clear technical accounting memoranda for executive leadership and auditors.
- Lead the annual external audit process; act as the primary liaison with auditors.
- Manage quarterly certification processes within Workiva, addressing compliance issues proactively.
- Review global monthly close submissions, ensuring GAAP and corporate policy compliance.
- Provide accounting training to regional teams; promote best practices across the organization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to advance platform capabilities and streamline planning initiatives.
What You Will Bring- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- 6-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, including financial reporting and technical accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Proven experience coordinating with external auditors.
- Prior public accounting (Big Four or national firm) strongly preferred.
- Background with multinational operations and ERP tools.
- Workiva experience a plus.
