Job Description

We are looking for an amazing Port Operations Financial Reporting Manager to fill this role, which is based in our Doral office. This role is a senior individual contributor responsible for strengthening financial transparency, rigor, and accuracy across Port Operations and Guest Logistics for Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, and Seabourn. The role plays a central and critical role on the ongoing Port Operations cost and efficiency transformation. The role sits at the intersection of Port Operations and Finance, owning complex cost and rate modelling, improving forecast accuracy, and translating financial data into clear, decision-oriented insights for leadership. A core focus is driving standardization, automation, and process improvement across reporting, accruals, and forecasting to improve productivity, discipline, and resilience. The role requires strong judgment, autonomy, and the ability to challenge entrenched practices while partnering closely with various stakeholders and leaders, mostly within Port.

Here is a summary of what Princess is looking for in its Port Operations Financial Reporting Manager. Is this you?

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex rate and cost modelling (e.g., port by port tariffs, manning assumptions, TFPE) to directly support Port Operations and improve forecast accuracy; manage shared inbox and rate update processes.
  • Drive standardization, documentation, and automation across reporting, accrual, and forecasting processes, reducing manual effort and dependency on individuals.
  • Strengthen cost transparency through improved, automated, cross-brand reporting and dashboards that enable better, faster decision-making.
  • Support end-to-end financial oversight of Port Operations and Guest Logistics costs across brands, including budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Enhance initiative modelling and benefits tracking to provide clear visibility of risks, opportunities, and delivery against plan.
  • Support strategic and ad hoc analyses related to itinerary planning, cost optimization, audits, and special projects.
  • Ongoing, cross-cutting responsibilities:
    • Act as a bridge between Port Operations and Finance, reinforcing financial rigor, cost discipline, and consistency in planning and performance tracking
    • Partner closely with Port Operations leaders to interpret financial results, highlight trends, and identify actionable improvement opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • 7+ years in port operations, shipping, or logistics, or relevant cruise industry experience
  • Experience in Excel, Power BI or any other analytical tools is a plus
  • Prior experience in port-related management and/or marine operations preferred.
  • This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company's schedule of four days in the office per week (Monday - Thursday)
