JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for supporting the monthly close cycle, rolling forecast, and executive reporting. This role owns the financial narrative for enGen, including the monthly CFO close presentation, board and ELT packages, and the ad hoc analysis that flows from senior leadership. This position reports directly to the Director of FP&A and works closely with the CFO and senior business leaders across enGen.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience, a track record of leading and developing finance team members, and the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for executive audiences. This role plays an active part in advancing the team's Power BI reporting capabilities and AI-driven automation initiatives. This individual takes ownership of their work product, communicates with precision and confidence, and is motivated by continuous improvement in both process and analytical depth. This is a high-visibility role with real opportunity to shape how FP&A operates at a growing healthcare technology company.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
  • Direct the completion of revenue, claim and administrative expense components of the forecast and communicate results to Senior Management.
  • Provide cost information support and prepare cost reports consistent with allocation methodologies to the business.
  • Manage the completion of various ad-hoc financial analyses and communicate results to Sr leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field

Pay Range Minimum:
$102,700.00

Pay Range Maximum:
$164,600.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
