Full Job Description
Hallmark Media is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to play a key role in our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role will partner closely with business leaders across the organization to deliver clear financial insights, strengthen our planning capabilities, and support strategic decision-making in a dynamic and evolving media landscape. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, the ability to turn complex financial data into meaningful insights, and a passion for financial operations.

The salary range for this job is between $88,100-$118,200. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the company's annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to assess business performance and support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Deliver clear and insightful variance analyses, performance reports, and financial dashboards for business leads and stakeholders.
  • Support financial reporting packages that align with corporate goals and provide consistent, accurate, and well-structured insights.
  • Participate in scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and ad-hoc strategic projects.
  • Contribute to improvements in FP&A tools, systems, processes, and methodologies, helping to drive efficiency and enhance financial planning capabilities.
  • Partner across the finance organization to ensure alignment, transparency, and strong business support.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related fields, preferably in high-growth environments within media, entertainment, or streaming.
  • Strong foundation in accounting, forecasting, and scenario planning, paired with advanced analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and variances.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; comfort working with large data sets (experience with coding, business intelligence tools, or ERP systems a plus).


OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain financial information, summarize complex concepts, and influence business partners and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
