Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis - Card Fraud
As Capital One grows and scales, the Card Fraud strategy team becomes increasingly important to drive scale, differentiated customer experience and efficiencies. This role will support the Customer Service and Strategy Organization (CS&S), with a focus on the Fraud & Dispute Loss team. As a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting, modeling, and building strong relationships with Fraud business partners. This role will provide business leaders with financial insights, directly influencing strategy, and driving business outcomes.
This role requires strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills in order to effectively:- Articulate outcomes of analysis, critically evaluate option sets, and present data-backed recommendations to leadership.
- Deliver high-quality results under both open-ended timelines and tight corporate deadlines.
- Navigate white space comfortably and build structured models out of ambiguity.
- Partner across cross-functional teams and successfully execute deliverables through others.
- Develop and deliver presentations to senior Finance and business leaders
- Perform thorough financial and data driven analysis to advise financial decision making with partnership from senior business leaders
- Champion continuous process improvement, identifying opportunities to leverage AI-driven insights and automation to streamline workflows and maximize team efficiency and strategic impact
- Foster a strong culture by mentoring and developing associates, helping to drive a high-performing team environment
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis
- At least 5 years of experience with financial modeling
- At least 1 year of experience managing a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function
- At least 1 year of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within a B2B SaaS, or enterprise software, or technology environment
- 2+ years of experience managing both direct and indirect reports

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Financial Analysis
Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Financial Analysis
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
