The Manager, Finance Operations supports execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement of financial operations processes, including monthly close reporting and forecasting coordination. This leader manages a team of analysts or specialists and partners closely with Strategic Finance Advisors (SFAs) to ensure process integrity, reporting accuracy, and scalable financial support.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee execution and accuracy of monthly close reporting cycles
- Review journal entries and financial outputs to ensure data integrity
- Drive process improvements and maintain standardized reporting templates
- Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles and Portfolio Management Reviews (PMRs)
- Coordinate forecast inputs and key performance metrics
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals
- Address financial escalations and ad hoc analysis requests
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Engineering, and Operations
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related preferred)
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience managing professional employees and delivering team goals
- Strong process orientation and analytical skills
- Ability to reconcile discrepancies and improve workflows
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and finance systems (Oracle, OneStream, etc.)
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal control requirements
Preferred:- MBA or CPA
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Background in operational finance, FP&A, or shared services optimization
