The Manager of Finance Operations Analysis is responsible for overseeing the cost accounting function and support data analysis for proforma development.  Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, this role focuses on enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency through data-driven insights.

The Manager will be responsible for cost data integrity, cost allocation methodologies and performance benchmarking. The Manager will collaborate with various finance and operational teams to ensure cohesive financial operations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the finance operations analysis team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Oversee cost accounting functions and supervise the cost accountant and or analysts, ensuring meticulous tracking and analysis of costs.

  • Develop financial models and analytical tools to evaluate operational performance and provide insights.

  • Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner team to align financial insights with operational needs.

  • Maintain robust financial operations processes and controls to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

  • Produce comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Work closely with peers to ensure alignment across financial functions.

  • Complete analysis to provide insight into operational trends and reimbursement impacts to support strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Drive process improvements within financial operations to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies

  • Be the subject matter expert for cost accounting standards

What's Available?

  • 1.0 FTE

  • Schedule: Typical hours Monday-Friday Days with occasional needs to work outside of standard business hours.

  • Location: Hybrid Eligible Role, may have occasional travel needs to the La Crosse, WI and Green Bay, WI locations.

What Will You Need?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience of demonstrated competency in accounting or finance related role within the healthcare industry and a minimum 5 years leadership experience.

  • Experience with developing and maintaining cost accounting methods for healthcare. Understanding of activity-based costing methods. Experience with financial modeling and proforma development.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare finance including reimbursement models and public policy implications to future financial performance. Ability to articulate changes within the healthcare finance space to non-financial leaders within operations. Ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across other areas in finance as well as operational business units.
