HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Manager, Finance Business Partnering serves as the primary finance business partner to assigned LifeNet Health business units, delivering financial insight, planning support, and decision-making guidance to operational leaders. Partners with R&D, Life Sciences, and Global Donor Services leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Develops financial models to evaluate business opportunities and drive operating margin improvement across assigned business units.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Manages financial deliverables for assigned business units including month-end close, variance analysis, annual budget, and quarterly forecast processes. Prepares business unit management reporting including monthly and quarterly business reviews and operational dashboards. Partners with business unit leaders to evaluate financial tools and processes that improve planning accuracy and efficiency.
  • Business Partnering: Partners with assigned business unit leadership teams to evaluate business opportunities and provide financial leadership on critical topics including pricing analysis, cost management, and operating margin improvement. Serve as the primary finance contact for all matters impacting the R&D, Life Sciences, and Global Donor Services functions, including operating expenses, project expenses, capital expenditures and overall headcount.
  • People Leadership: Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding and directing employees to be effective team members. Facilitates developing training materials for internal staff as well as external customers. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Uses the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team's level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards.
  • Financial Modeling: Develops financial models to support business unit investment decisions and operational performance improvement using financial metrics (NPV, IRR, Op Margin $, etc). Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and reliability of key financial inputs in business cases. Support R&D leadership team to deliver cost effective product development and innovation and support capital allocation prioritization process.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Seven (7) years of related work experience to include all of the following: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Three (3) years of leadership or management experience with responsibility of direct reports' performance (includes demonstrated experience influencing senior leaders without authority).


Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Five (5) years of related work experience in medical device industry.
  • Technology/ Systems: Experience with SAP ERP/ general ledger.

  • Technology/ Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, proficiency with SAP.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $100,306 - $133,741 annually

Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $100,306 annually (entry level qualifications) to $133,7 annually (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
