Manager, Facility Design will be accountable for developing, coordinating, and communicating store designs. Ensures compliance with design standards, manages stakeholder relationships, and oversees project execution to meet business requirements and sustainability standards. Acts as the liaison between Walmart's business units and Architectural consultants.

This position received business requirements, develops executable solutions and documentation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to create change initiatives. It involves the execution, communication, and overall ownership of specifications for all store formats, ensuring alignment with design standards.

Throughout the project lifecycle, the position is responsible for managing design timelines, reviewing change orders, and ensuring project documentation is accurate and compliant. Active participation in project meetings, coordination with cross-functional teams, and collaboration with external consultants are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering or relevant significant experience
  • Knowledge and experience in reviewing architectural, structural and MEP drawings and project schedules
  • Experience in using Revit and construction management programs
  • Working knowledge of building codes and interpreting zoning bylaws
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the building design / construction field
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a calm and professional manner

The pay range for this position is $91,900.00 - $126,390.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
