Full Job Description
MasterBrand Cabinets is recruiting for a talented and self-motivated Manager Business Systems Analyst to assess every aspect of our daily business operations. For this position, one will examine existing and new systems for improvement, report common issues, evaluate company performance, and recommend new system procedures. This role will be responsible for leading solution delivery as it relates to Manufacturing technology and Operational Controls at MBC manufacturing facilities. In addition to technical leadership, this role includes direct management of a team of Business Systems Analysts, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to drive team performance and growth. The successful candidate will collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple functional areas and levels to understand business needs. Duties include acting as a business partner with the manufacturing teams and Digital Technology support resources, as well as working with vendor partners, and ensuring solutions are meeting stakeholder needs while in compliance with corporate Digital Technology guidelines and requirements.

To excel in this position, one should be a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of business processes, business system analysis techniques, and demonstrated people leadership experience. The ideal candidate will also be dedicated and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.

This position is remote with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities:

People Management & Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Systems Analysts, providing mentorship, regular performance feedback, and career development planning.
  • Manage team workload allocation, prioritization, and capacity planning across concurrent manufacturing technology initiatives.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and goal-setting in alignment with company objectives and individual development plans.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard analyst talent; partner with HR on workforce planning and retention strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the team.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex business and technical issues, providing guidance and decision-making authority to team members.


Business Analysis & Solution Delivery
  • Perform analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems including functional objectives of systems, data sources and availability, report requirements, and cross-system integration requirements and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
  • Lead the definition of project scope, objectives, requirements, dependencies, and technical feasibility.
  • Communicate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and vendor-managed solutions to ensure delivery of business value.
  • Lead requirements gathering across the team. Utilize a variety of approaches to elicit and document business, functional, and user requirements, such as leading workshops, writing use cases, elaborating user stories, creating context and process diagrams, and performing stakeholder analysis.
  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
  • Collaborate regularly with technical leads, developers, and integration developers on functional and technical requirements to implement enhancements or application integrations to satisfy business requirements.
  • Create deliverables for all aspects of business analysis and functional design for application development, system integration, and data migration initiatives.
  • Lead the execution of Digital Technology manufacturing projects to advance the company's capabilities in manufacturing execution, operational control, data collection, and reporting.
  • Partner with senior leadership on recommendations and drive the implementation of systems solutions to provide plant manufacturing management with information to improve operating results.
  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing operations and Digital Technology, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or relevant field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis, systems development, and implementation.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of direct people management experience, including hiring, performance management, and team development.
  • Preferred 5+ years of experience in a production manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity of production scheduling, quality management, work order process flow, inventory management and BOM management preferred.
  • Previous work experience in systems integration and ERP technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Highly analytical mindset.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Lean, Agile, and Waterfall)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and effectively influence in a cross-functional organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
