POSITION SUMMARYCVS Health is seeking to hire an experienced
Manager - Enterprise Release Management to lead enterprise-wide release coordination and governance across a complex, distributed technology landscape.
In this role, you will be at the center of high-impact technology delivery-driving alignment across engineering, infrastructure, product, and business teams to ensure seamless, low-risk releases. You will have the opportunity to shape and modernize Release Management practices, bringing greater structure, predictability, and visibility to enterprise execution.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead enterprise Release Management coordination across teams, ensuring efficient, predictable, and low-risk delivery
- Establish and govern ITIL-aligned release processes adaptable to Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- Oversee release readiness, risk and dependency management, and Go/No-Go decision-making
- Manage release schedules, ServiceNow change records, and stakeholder communication across functions
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, analytics, and adoption of AI-enabled release capabilities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of experience in Release Management, Change Management, or IT Operations within enterprise environments, including coordination of large-scale, cross-team releases
- 5+ years applying ITIL Change and Release Management practices across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence for release tracking and documentation
- 5+ years managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with strong stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and alignment across technical and business teams
- 5+ years driving operational improvements through automation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making, with strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- ITIL v4 Foundation certification and experience leading or scaling Release Management functions or programs
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, platform, or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab or GitHub, along with collaboration platforms like SharePoint
- Experience driving process improvement through automation and workflow optimization at scale
- Exposure to or interest in AI-driven tools, automation, and predictive capabilities (e.g., risk forecasting, release impact analysis, delivery trend insights) to improve release coordination and decision-making
EDUCATIONBachelor's degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
