Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

This Engineering Manager will lead and develop a global team of engineering professionals within the Site Connectivity Solutions organization. This role is responsible for leading the planning, execution and delivery of Connectivty aligned product development. You will lead efforts to further enable our autonomous and remote-controlled machine applications by ensuring projects, initiatives, and processes meet established safety, quality, and milestone commitments.

As a key leader, you will drive engineering excellence, ensure compliance, and align engineering efforts with strategic business objectives. You will oversee resource planning, guide technical decision-making, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Through strong leadership and adherence to standards and best practices, you will help deliver high-quality solutions that support both customer success and business outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a Connectivity Solutions engineering team supporting development and systems testing aligned to our Command products.


  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define validation plans, meet quality and safety requirements, and deliver work on schedule.


  • Track progress using key performance metrics, identify risks, and adjust plans and priorities as needed to meet commitments.


  • Drive continuous improvement in product quality, process efficiency, and cost effectiveness across engineering deliverables.


  • Support the use of common quality processes to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across engineering teams.

Summary Pay Range:

$147,760.00 - $221,640.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
