Position Overview

The Manage/Engineer II provides leadership for facility safety, maintenance, engineering, capital projects, and operational excellence initiatives. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability, supporting regulatory compliance, leading capital projects, and driving continuous improvement across the Roseville facility and, when needed, multiple sites. The position serves as a key site leader and may act on behalf of the Plant Manager when required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and support facility safety programs while promoting continuous safety improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, OSHA, PSM, RCRA, TSCA, and DOT regulations.
  • Provide training for critical safety programs, including LOTO, confined space entry, line breaking, and hot work.
  • Manage plant infrastructure, maintenance budgets, and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Establish and monitor maintenance and reliability KPIs.
  • Lead process optimization and structured problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma and 8D.
  • Develop capital project proposals, cost estimates, and capital expenditure requests.
  • Execute capital projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring proper MOC and safety review processes.
  • Lead or support multi-site engineering, maintenance, safety, sustainability, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, physical inventories, and cycle count processes.


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive operations, engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience managing safety programs and maintaining compliance with EHS regulations.
  • Experience developing and executing maintenance, reliability, or capital improvement programs.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage employees across organizational levels.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.


Preferred Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience supporting OSHA 1910.119 Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
  • Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) experience.
  • Experience with process controls, quality systems, Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, FMEA, 5S, or Value Stream Mapping.
  • MBA with concentration in Operations Management, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Experience in adhesives manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and zero-defect methodologies.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $105,000 - $140,000.
