Full Job Description
We are seeking a strategic, people-focused leader to drive client management excellence and support long-term growth within our Employee Benefits Sales and Client Management HUB, located in KANSAS CITY, KS for cases over 100 lives. This role is responsible for leading client management strategies, coaching teams to deliver proactive and consultative service, and partnering closely with Sales leadership to strengthen revenue growth, client retention, and profitability. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of leadership, customer focus, and business acumen, with the ability to align office strategy to broader organizational goals while also overseeing operational effectiveness across assigned locations.

  • Develop and implement a business plan for assigned HUB that encompasses a strategic focus on proactive, consultative, strategic, focused on revenue generation and retention of profitable business for cases >100 lives and
  • Review, negotiate and resolve complex service issues escalated by staff and other internal and external customers. Coordinate the preparation of renewal strategies and materials, and presentation of renewals to producers and/or policyholders. Attend finalist presentations or other customer facing meetings and accompany Account Managers or Client Managers on producer and/or customer visits.
  • Lead and motivate the Sales Analysts to ensure appropriate support of the sales organization. Provide leadership, counseling and training to the Sales Analysts to meet accuracy and production goals. Manage and monitor RFP workflow through Salesforce.
  • Motivate and inspire staff to assess customer needs to identify and implement customer-focused improvements to workflow, systems and procedures and process consistency, coordinate activities with other department and division stakeholders.
  • Audit and monitor individual and HUB results frequently and, in partnership with the Sr. Director, Client Management and Employee Benefits Sales Manager(s) redirect strategies as needed to meet financial objectives for profit and growth.
  • Travel to all HUB offices a minimum of once a quarter and as needed to ensure process consistency and staff development and engagement.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:
$100k+ plus incentive compensation
