Job DescriptionWe are offering relocation support for eligible hires. The Manager assists the Director of Emergency Services with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient care services for the Emergency Department at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. The manager provides clinical oversight and support of assigned areas including quality improvement and quality assurance monitoring, provides clinical staff education and staff competency monitoring, supervises staff orientation as developed by the Director, provides follow up with Datix - adverse event monitoring tool, anticipates department staffing needs on a daily basis, edits payroll, regularly performs customer service rounds, and other operational activities as delegated
Shift Details: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift
Required Qualifications: - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, from an accredited educational institute, or in process and completed within 3 years of hire into position.
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care nursing
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or Business
- Upon hire: ACLS, PALS (must be AHA accredited)
- Upon hire: TNCC Instructor status, or ability to achieve
- A RN with 20 years of experience will not be required to obtain a BSN.
- 2 years experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
