Manager, Electromechanical Production

We are currently seeking a Manger for our Electromechanical Production team.
What will you be doing?
- Lead all electromechanical manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure products are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and execute production plans that align with customer schedules, business priorities, and operational capacity.
- Ensure production objectives for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity are consistently achieved.
- Monitor production performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure manufacturing resources, equipment, tooling, and personnel are effectively utilized.
- Balance production priorities across multiple programs and product lines.
- Lead daily production meetings and establish clear operational priorities.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the electromechanical Production team.
- Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
- Develop succession plans and identify training requirements to support business growth.
- Ensure employees possess the appropriate certifications, qualifications, and competencies for assigned work.
- Foster a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to develop realistic production schedules.
- Identify capacity constraints and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor work-in-progress, production backlog, and resource allocation.
- Ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
- Partner with the Quality team to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor quality metrics including defects, rework, first-pass yield, and customer returns.
- Drive root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
What do we need from you?
- Experience working in a supervisory, coaching or management role with complex mechanical assemblies, electrical assemblies, fabrication and similar manufacturing technologies.
- Strong technical knowledge of electromechanical components, systems, and assembly techniques.
- Strong understanding of production planning, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
- Experience managing operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of quality systems, compliance, and manufacturing best practices.
- Extensive experience working with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary production teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
