Position Overview

As a Manager in Hilco Global Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice, you will lead day-to-day execution of e-discovery and document-intensive workstreams in investigations, disputes, regulatory response, litigation support, and other sensitive matters.

You will help clients and counsel manage the discovery lifecycle, including data identification, preservation coordination, collection planning, processing, hosting, review workflows, analytics, production, privilege and confidentiality workflows, quality control, and defensible reporting.

Managers are expected to combine strong technical capability with project management, communication, and team leadership. This role is particularly attractive for professionals seeking broader responsibility and the opportunity to help build a growing e-discovery capability within an integrated investigations and disputes platform.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day execution of e-discovery workstreams, including data identification, preservation coordination, collection planning, processing, hosting, review management, production, and reporting
• Develop and maintain discovery plans, review protocols, document review workflows, quality-control procedures, privilege and confidentiality tracking, redaction protocols, and production specifications
• Coordinate with clients, counsel, custodians, vendors, managed review teams, forensic technology professionals, and internal engagement teams
• Manage Relativity or similar review databases, including matter setup, search term implementation, batching, layouts, fields, coding panels, analytics, redactions, and productions
• Use analytics, technology-assisted review, email threading, near-duplicate detection, clustering, communication analysis, and other tools to improve efficiency and quality where appropriate
• Review and synthesize findings from documents, communications, structured data, and other sources to support investigations and disputes
• Prepare and review client-facing reports, status updates, review metrics, issue summaries, chronologies, and production logs
• Supervise, coach, and develop Analysts, Associates, review teams, and other team members through active review and feedback
• Coordinate with senior professionals on engagement planning, budgets, deadlines, data security, and client communications
• Support proposals, pitch materials, recruiting, training, technology evaluation, and other internal practice-building initiatives

Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business, legal studies, accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline required; candidates with master's degrees or JD degrees are strongly encouraged and will be prioritized
• Approximately 4-7 years of relevant experience in e-discovery, litigation support, forensic technology, managed review, investigations, disputes, or related professional services
• Strong experience managing discovery workstreams and reviewing the work of junior professionals, review teams, vendors, or contractors
• Experience with Relativity, RelativityOne, Everlaw, Reveal, DISCO, Nuix, Brainspace, Casepoint, Microsoft Purview, Google Vault, or similar e-discovery and review platforms is preferred
• Strong understanding of the EDRM lifecycle, preservation and collection principles, review workflows, production formats, privilege workflows, redaction processes, and quality-control procedures
• Strong report-writing, presentation, project management, and client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
• Professional credentials such as RCA, CEDS, ACEDS, Relativity certifications, PMP, CFE, or other relevant credentials are a plus
• Willingness to travel as needed

Annual base salary gross: $135,000 - $175,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of Hilco's salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of Hilco's total compensation package for employees.
