Manager, Distributor Partnerships (Mississauga, Ontario, Ontario)

As a Manager, Distributor Partnerships you will be Leading the development and execution of distribution and strategic account strategies across Canada, driving revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer partnerships within Advanced Wound Management (AWM).

What will you be doing?

  • Optimize distribution models (direct, master, and sub-distributors) to maximize growth and profitability
  • Build and manage relationships with key accounts, including health authorities, GPOs, SSOs, and strategic customers
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Business Unit leaders to design and execute customer-focused programs
  • Develop and expand business across private clinics, ambulatory surgery centres, and wound care settings
  • Lead strategic account planning, including value-based solutions, pricing, contracts, and RFP support
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish industry partnerships to expand market reach
  • Align stakeholders and ensure successful execution of national and regional initiatives
  • Provide performance insights, reporting, and recommendations to support business planning and growth


What will you need to be successful?

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, business management, or sales leadership (medical device experience preferred)
  • Strong experience with complex negotiations, contracting, and value-based selling
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, procurement processes, and market dynamics
  • Proven ability to manage strategic accounts and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to assess profitability and drive results
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a matrixed, multinational environment
  • University degree required; MBA considered an asset
  • Ability to travel up to 40%; bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset


Travel Requirements: X times a year national travel for events and conferences

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 CAD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base pay, we provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, RRSP, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, and generous PTO, paid company holidays annually and 8 hours of Volunteer time and a variety of wellness offerings such as the Employee Assistance Program.
