Compensation: $140,000-$185,000 base salary, based on qualifications and experience.
The RoleThe Manager/Director, FP&A is expected to make a significant contribution and play a critical role in the organization, interfacing with senior executives and business leaders. You will be relied upon to assess the financial and analytical aspects of key business decisions and drive strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating complex analyses clearly to various stakeholders across the business and will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. You are not afraid of working extensively with data and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver key insights regarding both financial and business metrics, and provide strategic advice to facilitate decision-making in a timely manner
- Support the improvement and operation of the company's financial model, including headcount projections, cost and vendor expense management, and detailed revenue forecasting
- Help lead the long-term, annual, and quarterly forecasting process
- Prepare financial and KPI data for monthly/quarterly board and executive reporting
- Own management reporting and partner with the business on expense controls and management
- Responsible for owning and maintaining a system implementation
- Assist in financial-related work streams in connection with future capital-raise activities
- Develop sustainable and scalable processes for ongoing financial reporting and review.
- Analyze and report on historical and projected monthly/quarterly/annual performance trends
- Lead and contribute to investment decisions and new strategic initiatives through ad-hoc analyses
Practical stuff we anticipate you having- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related major
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, management consulting, or another finance-related role
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with complex financial models
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and communicate effectively
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
