Your Opportunity

The Manager, Digital Product Management is responsible for the Digital Outreach capability within Data-Driven Communications. This role identifies, evaluates, prioritizes, and implements innovative technologies, processes, and capabilities that improve marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and scalability across Schwab's digital communications ecosystem. The position serves as a strategic partner across Marketing, Marketing Technology, IT, and business stakeholders to transform manual processes into scalable, automated solutions that enable growth while enhancing the client experience.

This role will own a portfolio of Digital Outreach initiatives, manage vendor partnerships, and guide concepts from ideation through proof of concept, implementation, and ongoing value realization. Key areas of focus include AI enablement, marketing workflow automation, preference management, campaign quality assurance, and emerging digital communication capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Digital Outreach Capability Leadership

  • Own and evolve the Digital Outreach capability roadmap
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through automation, AI, and process optimization
  • Develop business cases and value assessments for new capabilities
  • Establish prioritization frameworks aligned to enterprise and marketing objectives
  • Lead cross-functional discussions on future-state marketing capabilities

Product Management

  • Manage a portfolio of Digital Outreach initiatives from intake through implementation
  • Assist and partner with the Sr. Managers who also own capabilities within the team to define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to establish requirements and priorities
  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable business value and operational efficiencies
  • Manage capability lifecycle, adoption, and continuous improvement

Innovation and Emerging Technology

  • Evaluate emerging technologies that improve marketing operations and client communications
  • Lead proof-of-concept efforts and pilot programs
  • Create frameworks for assessing scalability, risk, and business value
  • Partner with architecture, security, and governance teams to operationalize successful concepts
  • Build repeatable processes for transitioning innovation into production

Marketing Process Optimization

  • Analyze end-to-end marketing workflows to identify inefficiencies
  • Design scalable solutions that reduce manual effort and improve speed-to-market
  • Drive standardization and governance across capabilities
  • Partner with operational teams to improve adoption and usability
  • Create playbooks and best practices supporting continuous improvement

Vendor and Partnership Management

  • Serve as business owner for assigned platforms and vendor relationships
  • Manage vendor roadmaps, feature evaluation, and investment decisions
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to deliver capabilities
  • Monitor performance, adoption, and value realization

Organizational Leadership

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Digital Outreach capabilities
  • Present strategy, progress, and recommendations to leadership audiences
  • Develop strong relationships across Marketing, Technology, and Enterprise partners
  • Contribute to capability planning, budgeting, and annual strategic initiatives

 

What you have
  • 5+ years experience in Product Management, Marketing Technology, Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing, or related disciplines
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving business and technology teams
  • Experience building business cases and defining product roadmaps
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority
  • Demonstrated experience improving operational efficiency through process or technology enhancements

Preferred

  • Experience with Marketing Automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar technologies
  • Experience evaluating and implementing AI-enabled solutions
  • Experience with workflow automation and content management technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile product delivery methodologies
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and strategic partnerships
