Full Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of professional experience in Luxury eCommerce/Digital; Master's degree (MBA, Data Analytics, or related) preferred. You will have a proven track record in insights or data analysis roles, preferably within e-commerce or online marketplaces. You will be able to leverage web analytics tools, including GA4 to track digital performance, measure customer behavior and generate insights that optimize online customer journeys in a luxury retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Qlik Sense, or Tableau); Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation; Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis and data processing; Experience with light ETL work extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources; Experience using AI tools for analytics, automation, or insight generation (e.g., generative AI, Copilot, or AI features within BI platforms). You will have a strategic mindset and have the ability to connect data insights to broader business strategies and make recommendations that drive meaningful outcomes. Experience working with sales, operations, or customer data, retail, logistics, or contact center data is a plus We are seeking an innovative, strategic, and analytically minded Manager to join our Digital Analytics & Insights team. This is not a traditional analytics role, we are looking for a dreamer and a doer who is not afraid to experiment, challenge the status quo, and bring fresh ideas to life. This role is designed to be the right hand to the Senior Manager, owning the data analysis, reporting, insight generation, and AI-enhanced analytics that drive business decisions in a fast-paced luxury retail environment. If you are someone who looks at data and sees opportunity, not just numbers, who asks "what if?" and then figures out "how" , we want to talk to you. In this role, you will: - Partner with business leaders to understand their questions and translate them into analytical requirements - Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python - Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, Google Looker, or Qlik Sense that provide real-time visibility into business performance - Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities delivering insights before stakeholders ask for them - Reduce ad-hoc data requests by creating self-service reporting solutions - Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, Copilot, or embedded AI features in BI platforms) to accelerate data analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and generate first-pass insights - Use AI to summarize complex datasets, identify patterns, and suggest hypotheses for deeper investigation - Partner with the Senior Manager to pilot new AI capabilities (e.g., Ambition AI, SharePoint Agents) that enhance team productivity and insight generation - Ensure AI-generated insights are validated, accurate, and aligned with business context - Build and maintain simple ETL processes to extract data from source systems - Perform data transformation and cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistency - Work with the Senior Manager to define data models that support reporting needs - Serve as the primary data partner to other online retail teams (CRC, Operations, Web Experience and CRM) - Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for non-technical audiences - Present findings to mid-level and senior leadership with confidence and clarity - Regularly track and monitor online retail performance, web traffic and contact center traffic. Provide insights on trends and actionable to improve KPIs - Work with Van Cleef & Arpels HQ and Richemont partners to maintain established data governance policies and procedures and to understand the entire data lifecycle - Support with adhoc data and AI related projects.
