Responsibilities of the Manager, Digital Enablement
- Lead APS's digital enablement function and team, including work assignment, expectation setting, capacity planning, performance support and continuous improvement of operating practices.
- Maintain the methods, tools, templates and decision-support practices used to intake, assess, frame, track and report on digital opportunities across APS.
- Support technology modernization decisions by providing lifecycle, target-state, sequencing, dependency, readiness and governance analysis.
- Lead AI use case intake and prioritization practices, helping stakeholders shape opportunities, clarify outcomes, identify risks and prepare decision-ready recommendations.
- Manage technical debt assessment and prioritization approaches by coordinating input from technology leaders, architects, product owners and business stakeholders.
- Provide regular reporting, dashboards, analysis and recommendations on pipeline health, prioritization outcomes, readiness issues, trade-offs and matters requiring leadership direction.
- Build effective relationships with business areas, IST teams, product owners, architects, governance partners, delivery teams and external partners to support transparent, evidence-based decision-making.
What you bring
- Degree or diploma in a related field, plus eight years of relevant digital enablement, application delivery/support or enterprise technology experience; equivalent combinations may be considered.
- Experience leading people, teams or cross-functional work, including planning, coaching and accountability.
- Strong judgement in assessing, prioritizing and preparing decision-ready technology recommendations.
- Knowledge of digital enablement, technology lifecycles, technical debt, AI intake and enterprise governance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience in digital transformation, modernization, AI, data or regulated environments is an asset.
